This British TV program is the longest-running sci-fi show worldwide, having been broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The original series ran for 26 seasons and 694 episodes and the modern-day revival has 13 seasons so far with 155 episodes. It reboots itself every few years with a new Doctor to an ever-growing fan base, so it could conceivably keep going for many years to come. Even after 50 years, Doctor Who is still going strong. It’s likely no other sci-fi series will ever match its output.
